This is the survey Chris Sykes and I have created a survey to which genre of film are people's favourite and what makes that genre their favourite. This is the first of three surveys we will be posting for people to answer. to help us in our research for our opening scene.

Order of opening Credits
While there are numerous variations most opening credits use some variation of the basic order noted within:
- (NAME OF THE STUDIO)
- (NAME OF THE PRODUCTION COMPANY)
- (PRODUCER NAME) PRODUCTION or/and (director only) A FILM BY (DIRECTOR NAME)
- STARRING
- (FILM'S TITLE)
- FEATURING
- Featured actors.
- CASTING or CASTING BY
- PRODUCTION DESIGN or PRODUCTION DESIGNER
- SET DESIGN
- COSTUMES or COSTUMES BY or GOWNS (older movies)
- HAIRDRESSER
- MAKE-UP ARTIST
- SOUND RECORDING (older movies)
- VISUAL EFFECTS DIRECTOR or VISUAL EFFECTS BY
- EDITOR or EDITED BY
- DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
- PRODUCER or PRODUCED BY, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
- BASED ON THE BOOK (PLAY, GRAPHIC NOVEL etc.) BY or FROM A PLAY/BOOK BY (older movies)
- BASED ON THE CHARACTERS BY or BASED ON THE CHARACTERS CREATED BY

This is an example of how a film opening sequence may be set out and I will certainly add certain aspects of this set out to my own opening sequence plan which i have posted already and will repost the finished plan very soon.
